General Contractor:
Bird Construction

Address:
55 St. George St., Toronto

U of T’s CEIE building is a hub designed for researchers, engineers and entrepreneurs.  It includes centres for robotics, water innovation and sustainable energy.

Trillium supplied and installed hollow metal doors, frames and screens, hardware and automatic door operators.

Most frames were designed with custom profiles and many of the oversized screens were fabricated in sections and welded on site.

Sound control was a major factor in the design of this building, which led to the extensive use of acoustic rated doors (STC).

Hardware was specified in an oil rubbed bronze finish, giving a distinguished look that will evolve as it is used.
