PwC Tower

Architect:
KPMB Architects

General Contractor:
EllisDon Corporation

Address:
18 York St., Toronto

The PwC Building, located at 18 York St., was the first building constructed in Toronto’s Southcore Financial Centre.  It is home to the Canadian head office of Price Waterhouse Cooper and set the standard for towers that followed in the Southcore, like the Bremner Tower and Delta Hotel. The building is connected to Scotiabank Arena, the Telus Tower and Union Station by a skywalk that spans across York St.  Its energy efficiency, green roof and other design elements have earned the building LEED® Gold and BOMA BEST Platinum certifications. During the design phase, Trillium provided hardware consulting for KPMB and GWL.  EllisDon partnered with Trillium to supply and install a complete opening package.  We provided doors and frames in FSC®-certified wood, hollow metal and stainless steel, as well as hardware and automatic door operators. After completing the base building project, Trillium has worked on several tenant fit-out projects within 18 York, including CIBC, Royal Sun Alliance, SNC Lavalin and anchor tenant PwC.
