Hotel X<\/a><\/strong> is a world-class hospitality centre located at Exhibition Place in downtown Toronto.\u00a0 Among its incredible amenities are the 10XTO Athletic Club<\/a><\/strong>, a rooftop bar and pool that offer stunning views of the city, multiple restaurants and a movie theatre.\u00a0<\/p>

The hotel is in the heart of the entertainment district, offering easy access to professional sports and concert venues, the Honda Indy, the CNE, theatres and conference centres.<\/p>

Trillium was involved in this project early, working on the initial design with NORR Architects.\u00a0 Our consultants provided expert guidance throughout the job, managing its many changes and keeping the Division 8 openings package on track when site management changed hands.<\/p>

The scope of the project was impressive.\u00a0 Trillium supplied and installed doors, frames and hardware for approximately 2000 openings.\u00a0<\/p>

The highlight of the project is the Salto card access system<\/strong><\/a> that was supplied, installed and programmed by Trillium’s Integration department.\u00a0 The system is used for guest suite access, in back-of-house areas by staff and to control elevator access to restricted floors.\u00a0 The locksets include a variety of Salto technologies, including XS4, Sallis and AElement, and are fully integrated with the hotel\u2019s Opera hospitality software.<\/p>

After installation, Trillium Integration provided full training and support to the hotel\u2019s management team, ensuring they are confident with the system and able to provide the highest levels of service and convenience to their customers.<\/p>

To maximize installation efficiency, doors arrived on site ready to hang, as they were pre-painted, with the hardware pre-installed and protected with paper and shrink wrap.\u00a0 This reduced our installers\u2019 time and footprint on site, allowed us to stay on schedule and prevented door damage during construction.
